Nils Frahm and F.S.Blumm present Handling, their fifth collaborative album and a bold evolution of their long-running partnership. Spanning just three tracks across 40 minutes, the record builds on the dub-inflected tones of 2021’s 2X1=4 while recalling elements of their earlier works.
Recorded at Frahm’s Berlin studio in the historic Funkhaus and released via LEITER, Handling explores new sonic territory through delicately sculpted improvisations. Each of its three pieces is titled ‘Leuchter’—the German word for candlestick—capturing the album’s glowing, meditative energy.
